SORRY WE ARE LATE!
Early Saturday morning right after catching the late show at
the Mary Knox on Old Maryville Highway the staff piled in their
SUVs and headed south to Florida for the UT game. Working with
a skeleton crew we just now managed to toss something together!
Print is media right? Then I have to ask do any of you
actually care about the lawing of the county government by the
big paper? We have a poll up and if you wanta vote AND post
fire at will!
Question...are you now using WVLT for
your University of Tennessee football
station? This is their first
year out as the "OFFICIAL"
flagship station of the Vols and
we (the few of us NOT in Florida)
were wondering if you have moved over
to them from WBIR to catch the Large
Orange?
Rumor floated in that
Abby Honey Baked had left the
building at 10. Relax, it
was just a floater and had
zero stickability. I like
the lady on the air, but some of
you have mixed feelings? If she
did leave would you jump ship
and watch WATE OR WVLT in the morning?
I know ANOTHER QUESTION! Whata think?
Last week Katie continued to
ride the down elevator in the
ratings war at CBS. Her trip
to the sandbox pulled no new numbers
and when the story broke about
Hillary Clinton taking over 800K
in funny money for her campaign
Katie spent more time talking about
the death of a bird than the
sleazy contribution. Ya think
the "Rather" network will
bounce her over to 60 Minutes or
will they hang with her like they
did Dan cause they LOVE her agenda?
Again, hit the comment box..inquiring
minds wanta know!
This is Florida Week and from the
show of car flags and "special reports" on
radio and TV it looks like folks
could give a rodents behind. Is it
the Calf mess or the first half scare from
that trade school in Mississippi that has us
so down about da Orange? Will a WIN
Saturday cure the problem..or if we take it
in the shorts will there be Three Men and a
Truck at Phil's house Sunday Morning?
OK that is about all we can do
considering the media complex looks like
the aftermath of a raid at Hazel Davidson's
house

Who cares about Knox County, they are all crooks and will be even if they replace them.
I didn't know the game had moved to WVLT but I will still watch all the UT sports shows on WBIR.
Thanks for the memory of Hazel, my father used to visit her place when he was in with the court house
crowd in Knoxville. He later told me a certain mayor and TV news
man were regulars.
Never have, never will understand the good ol' boy's fascination with Abby Ham.
