NETWORKS IN THE TANK

ZEEK RIDINGS loves to watch
the History Channel and
all six hundred GEMSTONE
SHOPPING NETWORKS. In
the afternoon meeting
he floated a question and
at least three air muffins (Tacos and
sour kraut for lunch can be deadly)
asking if Anyone still watched network
TV? Only the Hackensaw brothers raised their hands.

New shows on the "over the air" net
works are sucking harder than a
the sump pump on the Honey Wagon
this year. Those who look up numbers
tell us viewership is off over thirty
percent from last year.

Over the air net work news is
in even worse shape. "ELECTION REJECTION: NETWORK NEWS SLUMPS; VIEWERSHIP FADES
Wed Oct 22 2008 07:25:40 ET

The Obama-McCain match-up is proving to be a lackluster election ticket for the Big 3 network news programs, according to NIELSEN MEDIA RESEARCH.

As the shouting from the trail and the frantic spinning from the anchor desks intensify, the audience is voting with their remotes.

All 3 evening news shows experienced audience drops year-to-year for the week of Oct. 13-19, 2008.

CBSNEWS w/ Couric shed a half a million viewers, falling from 6.4 million to 5.9 million; ABCNEWS dropped from 8.1 million to 7.6 million; NBCNEWS slumped from 8.2 million to 7.8 million."

Polls show
their credibility AND viewership
is in the porcelain bowl and on
the final swirl. One of the
many reasons Joe the Viewer has
flipped past NBC Nightly, CBS
Katie or ABC Charlie is their
total LACK of reporting stories
that won't advance their agendas.

Here is the bright side and
brother it is brighter than
Lou Dobb's new teeth...
AFTER THE ELECTION, when all of
this candidate spending dries up
most if not All OF THE BIG
over the air networks are going to
have yet another mass LAYOFF, like NBC
had in 2006! So will canning the help
change the agenda reporting? Not really
but the more folks you fire the more the quality of
the slanted reports will slide hopefully to
the point where they are just unwatchable!
We can only light a candle and say a prayer.

HEY, here is a story
that will so N O T
SHOCK ANYONE!!
Coverage of McCain Much More Negative Than That of Obama

YA THINK? LOL

We be down to the wire on
the race and if ACORN doesn't
pull out a win for THAT ONE,
his followers are set to riot,
burn Korean Grocery stores and
naturally their own intercity
neighborhoods.

IF "THAT ONE" does win
the Republicans are set
to buy stock, move the kids
trust money to off shore banks,
print millions of T shirts that say
WE SAID HE WOULD SCREW IT UP AND HE DID,
and dig in for four very BLACK years.

SO get out and vote OK?
