suggested we either copy Radio 101
word for word or come up with some
happy things that they have missed
from the old days.
The two guys who
cover the night beat
(They replaced
The Brothers on WOKI years ago and go by the name of,
"The Brothers we don't talk about")
Said they would help and the next thing
we knew we had a new edition!
Twelve minutes after the
meeting broke the brothers were
very upset. They
said none of the
old radio
and TV talents theycalled were allowed to talk
on the phone except to their
lawyers. After a few cold
Schlitzs the guys regrouped and suggested a
new idea.

These questions are too hard. I do remember the guy on 26 smoking a pipe while doing the news though.
I'm guessing Hal Wanzer was the cig smoking anchor.
WJBZ still has a live dj on after 7 pm.
Hamilton Bank building is my guess on the bank building.
WTVK had a globe and Randy Pruit who also smoked the pipe would spin it just before they came back on after a commercial. Lots of times they came back too soon and you could see his hand. The first night he was so nervous he just about knocked it off the desk.
I remember the cigarette smoke coming up from behind the desk but I can't remember who it was?
I can't tell you any of the names of the anchors children or for that matter most of the anchors last names?
I wish Johnny Mountain would come back, the weather is dull without him. The best weather is on WBIR and the girl everyone makes fun of for giggling is much better now. Someone sat her down and had a talk, you can tell.
WKXV has live talent on the air 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
WETE was the flagship station of the vol network and carried the reds.
WKXV does have a night person on and they are local and not recorded.
Not a clue about the TV anchors cause we never are home when the news is on and we are all in bed by 11.
Local TV news is better than other places cause we have cut women on here who can read.
